Chemical Structure Search

Calculate the total quantity or concentration of a component in a mixture:

  • Select components from compound list or from your own inventory

Fully Customisable Label Printing Templates

From simple barcode to a GHS compatible label templates can be prepared and shared on user level or centrally. Fields additional to the standard include:

Audit Logs

Changes made to any inventory item are shown at the end of the items data sheet, including:

  • Date and time of the change
  • What changed to what
  • Who changed it

This is available to all and also exportable. Lower level, searchable audit log is available as an additional feature.

Central Waste Packaging and Management

With this module you gain access to the "marked for disposal" and expired items' list centrally, all categorised.

Asset Issue Reporting

Get instant notifications when users report issues in LabCup. Keep track of the issue and any actions taken.

Training Records

Set, and keep track of required training as a prerequisite of asset booking. Always know who your users are!

Energy consumption information

Power usage information can be added to Location type of assets.

Information for insurance

Purchase cost, warranty/end-of-life dates and project information can be registered and displayed in search results for assets.

Safety information

Add Prohibition, Mandatory and Warning signs to your assets. These information will be displayed on floorplan and also on booking pages.

Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQs)

Set your own warning levels! For auditing purposes custom thresholds (MAQs) can be set per chemical type (hazard class), total quantity or quantity per area for each type.

The MAQ limits and their current completion percentage are displayed per laboratory on floorplans.

Compliance Reporting

The "Safety Officer" account gives the responsible person(s) complete oversight of the building, department, entire campus or site. It allows them to search by any parameter, and map hazards on digital floorplans.

The Safety Officer has approval right for risk assessments and purchase orders.

Risk Assessment & Incident Reporting

LabCup’s risk assessment module allows risk assessments to be completed and stored as quickly as possible. Users can report minor injuries or near misses via the software even anonymously.

Booking assets directly from the Digital Floorplan

Add your assets to the floorplan and users will be able to view basic information and book an appointment there easily.

Emergency response

In event of emergency, LabCup provides live information to fire crews on what hazards are on the campus, where, and in what quantities.

Fire crews can be given access to this before they even arrive on campus.

Emergency Access Tokens

On the emergency page LabCup summarizes the information the fire crew would need to know. This page is available anywhere from outside of the laboratory and can be shared with them even before they arrive at the site.

Chemical waste disposal – ADR packaging

LabCup’s chemical waste disposal module allows for a more efficient chemical disposal process, with advanced planning of packages and potential savings of up to 90%

Disposal staff or third party contractors can see what needs to be disposed of, and from where.

Waste packages are planned in advance across the entire campus.

Transport Document

The transport document is automatically generated and all historical records are kept for further data analysis and statistics.

Used-up Chemicals Report

Items that have been used up in the laboratories or have been disposed on spot without central assistance can be reported on the Reports page.

Centralized Chemical Data Management

Manage your structured chemical data to keep your database as clean as possible. With this tool you can set an approval system for chemical data, restrict users to edit approved data and merge duplicated/multiplicated compounds and products.

Federated Search

When you search for a chemical, consumable or biological, you will not only see your own inventory but also what others made available for you on site already in any category at the same time. If nothing found or not enough, you can order, or re-order with one click to open up the webshop of the supplier.

Purchase Approval

Purchase approval can be automatically requested and managed - as per set up - for example:

  • above certain order quantities, or values
  • for controlled substances
  • for certain item list

Automatic IFC hazard classification & NFPA 704 rating

Set rules based on your local regulations to convert chemical GHS data from the SDS into IFC hazard classes and NFPA 704 ratings. The following parameters can be considered when setting conversion rules:

  • Hazard class
  • Hazard statement
  • State
  • Flash point
  • LC50
  • LD50

Safety Sign Management

Manage the list of available warning signs centrally:

  • Add custom warning signs to comply with local regulations.
  • Assign specific signs to designated groups.
  • Disable built-in signs that are not relevant to your needs.

Waste Streams and Waste Containers

Configure waste streams and create uniquely labeled waste containers to assist with chemical waste collection within laboratories. Users are provided with indicators to guide them in selecting the appropriate container (stream) for chemical disposal. Additionally, the software allows for the generation of content reports for waste stream containers, ensuring efficient tracking and compliance.
